Habits: Eastern Fox Squirrels live in tree nests made of leaves and twigs, and do not hibernate. They are active later in the day than Eastern Gray Squirrels, and the diet includes nuts, seeds, fruits and insects. They store food for winter, and have about four young per litter. |
