| Procyon lotor (Northern Raccoon) |
|||||||
Habits: Raccoons hunt for food, mostly along or in water, and only at night. They are omnivores. They are very curious animals, and can climb and swim well. Raccoon young are born three or four to a litter, and they remain with their mother for about 1 year. They do not hibernate during winter, but instead sleep for a bit when it gets really cold or snowy. |
