 Feet plantigrade, soles of hind feet naked to heel; body relatively short and heavy; no evident lordosis (having great flexibility of the back, so that when moving, the animal has a dorsal flexure or “humping”); posterior border of hard palate not extending appreciably beyond last molars, or if it does, then skull triangular and robust and the last upper molars are triangular in shape (Fig. 65a)
